For Trade

At Worsbrough Mill we are passionate about producing nutritious organic flours.

Worsbrough Mill unbleached white flour is created by ‘bolting’ or sieving the meal which separates the white starch, from the middle of the grain, from the semi-milled flour (semolina) and bran. All three products created from the bolting process are available to purchase.

Using French Burr millstones driven by water power, we mill a range of premium quality grains sourced from organic farms in England to produce our flours. The grain we use is grown to Soil Association standards, meaning that we can trace each batch of flour produced back to the field it came from.

Our flour can be used to make a variety of baked products from bread to scones and cakes. Small batch milling ensures the freshest flour possible for the best baking results. We welcome visits from trade professionals to see for themselves how our passion and pride have developed a fine, premium flour at this beautiful and ancient mill hamlet in Barnsley. Why not test our flour’s properties against your usual brand to find out how our flour compares and how it works for you?
